I primarily work in self-portraiture to construct layered narratives about my story. Plants, animals, and objects carry symbolic meanings\u2014so familiar that we often overlook them\u2014and I use these motifs to reveal hidden connections and inner states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My family is from Fujian, and I was raised within Hong Kong\u2019s rich tradition of Chinese culture.
